Your Horse Your Vacation

Ride your horse to the Lodge. Once there your equine buddy will find a place to bed down and eat as well as you. Boarding fees are $10/horse/nt for pasture or $15/horse/nt for paddock w/ hay. Horses will not be boarded with other guests horses

Horse Back to the Lodge

Ride to the Lodge on a guided trip on our horse. Meet your guide and horse at Moss Springs Campground, 8 miles from Cove, Oregon. The ride is about 3 hours long. $150 each way.

Fly in Your Plane or Private Charter

Charter Flights - We can help you arrange flights from Enterprise, Lagrande or Baker.

Air Strip Details

The Minam River Lodge private airstrip is a two-way dirt and sod strip about 2600 ft. long (pilots land at their own risk). Red's Horse Ranch strip is just above ours, so you will need to fly over to determine if there are any other planes landing or departing. Transmit on 122.9 and 122.8, giving your landing or departing intentions. Airstrip elevation 3,600 feet.
