Click here for Hunting Package Prices Minam Lodge Outfitters offers Eagle Cap Wilderness hunting trips to hunters with tags for Minam Unit Elk, Deer and Bear. We also guide and pack for Cougar, Big Horn Sheep and Goats. We begin most of our hunts and packs from a fly in wilderness lodge, 8 miles from the nearest trail head. This offers hunters a unique experience, no roads or vehicles, and opportunity to fill your tag with a branch antler bull. Historically success rates are very good. Several of our hunts and summer trips were featured in major outdoor magazines like: Western Horseman; Sports Afield; Oregon & Washington Hunting; and Horse and Rider.Our Hunting Services Deluxe Lodge Package All of these hunts are guided and include private cabin and all meals. The cabins have a full bath and wood stove with bedding and linens. All hunts except cougar include a saddle horse. You will enjoy hearty and delicious meals at the Lodge Dining Room where the coffee is always on. Bring only your license, tag, personal gear and weapon. One guide for every two hunters. For elk hunting we plan on you being a guest the day before hunting season opens. All flights including meat flights are additional, minimum of two hunters per party. Deluxe Package Minam River Area We provide everything for you. Bring only your personal gear, weapon and sleeping bag. One guide for every 2 hunters. The Archery Season hunt is 9 days. We also allow an extra day to come in and an extra to leave. Wrangler, cook, guide and horses stay with you during the entire hunt. All flights including meat flights are extra. Set up Supplied Camps Elk and Other Big Game We pack you from Minam Lodge to your camp and back. The camp is set up before your arrive with a tent, stove, ax, saw, lantern and cooking supplies. You are checked every other day during your hunt and your game is packed back to the Lodge. You provide your food and personal gear and cut your own firewood. No horses will be left in your camp. Price includes 1 pack animal per person. Pack animals carry about 160 lbs. Additional animals are $75.00 per day of use. We like at least 4 people in these parties. Drop Camps Elk and Other Big Game We pack you and all of your gear and camping equipment from Minam Lodge to your camp and back. No horses will be left in your camp. You are checked every other day during your hunt and your game is packed back to the Lodge. Price includes 2 pack animals per person. Pack animals carry about 160 lbs. Additional pack animals are $75.00 per day of use. We like at least 4 people per party. Dormitory Accomodations We offer an over night stay at the Lodge for hunters packing into camps, this includes dinner, breakfast and lodge dorm sleeping for $40 per person. Private Cabins are also available.
